I found a great way to control the start and stop of the animation of the BT. I bought a MiniUSB cable with an inline On-OFF switch. works like a charm! Something like this would work too: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1620

PS: I start my images with a line of color then black, that allows for a slight reaction time adjustment, before moving the BT. I END MY IMAGES with a a different color-pattern to signify the end of pattern, signaling me to hit the off switch before the pattern repeats.
