Thanks for the feedback. I replaced the Leaflet Sidebar plugin with a vanilla Bootstrap implementation mainly to remove additional plugin dependencies. The plugin sidebar also floated over the map view, so I had to include the Leaflet Active Area plugin with additional logic to manipulate the viewport for zooming to markers and setting the map bounds. This implementation follows the "keep it simple" approach I strive to maintain with BootLeaf.
