Yep, that seems to work without issues even though when I first compiled it it got confused with fmtd so I changed the cmake file to make it fmt which made it build successfully.

well we know you already ran sudo make install at the end of the compile process for DPP, and, did ldconfig run?

rerun sudo ldconfig and see if that helps.

how are you compiling the example program, can you please share your command line or cmake recipie?

I did do sudo make install, I am also just using the normal compile in the example on the docs for building with linux.

g++ -std=c++17 -ldpp -lfmt -v cikoa.cpp -o cikoa

ldconfig also ran after the compiling for DPP finished. rerunning ldconfig yield to no improvements.

I've made a template that you can adjust which seems to work well using cmake, it can be found here:

you should be able to paste your bot into the main.cpp
