@kdisneur wouldn't be surprised if you're right about the comment being the culprit. That comment is a bug so I'll see if I can't fix that today.
That being said I can't say if the rest of xray will function in IE6 & 7, but not breaking your site would be a good start :)

Thanks for your quick reply.
We don't use IE on development, our frontend dev just use IE sometimes to check if the render is still correct after her modifications. So we don't need to use X-ray on IE, if it just doesn't break the render it could be perfect for us! :)
