Where is your 1:1 relationship? Between your bus and your handler, or your handler and command?

Between the handler and the command, each command is handled exactly by one handler.

Sounds like you don't need a bus then, more a service locator. Could be wrong… usually am! 😀

Not sure which is the best approach here :) I'm very new to CQRS.

So, a different approach:
- you have command handlers that can respond to 1 or more commands
- you subscribe those command handlers to a command bus
- you put a command onto the command bus
- the command bus informs all subscribers who respond to the command they know about, otherwise the command is ignored
The usefulness of this approach, is that you can have multiple handlers for each command, e.g. you could have an auditing command handler that responds to all commands and logs them.
