this line in jwa would probably be the issue, apparently we are more strict then node is handlings it when RSA is specifically requested

all right 'RSA-SHA224/RSA-SHA256/RSA-SHA384/RSA-SHA512' case sensitive does appear to work for node

yes it should be, @JustinBeckwith you may need to debug a bit, my first guess is that you are using an older version or a different problem with the same error message
