I'm also running into this bug. It manifests when I browserify as the following error:
browserify foo.js --transform brfs --transform envify --debug --outfile foo-out.js
module.js:340
throw err;
^
Error: Cannot find module 'module-deps'

Seems to be working again. Some race condition issue. Ref: npm/npm#5082
from module-deps.
Isn't working for me. After npm clean
and reinstalling from scratch the browserify package, the module-deps
curiously do not exists in ./node_modules/browserify/node_modules/
from module-deps.
If I install module-deps
as first level dependency, it works well as expected due to node module resolve algorithm can find it in the current directory, however installing it as runtime dependency of browserify
does not works. I'm running a Travis build to discard some trouble in my npm version
from module-deps.
Definitely it was npm
. Now working
