Could you sketch how an IDL definition and the generated method signature of this might look like?

from service-idl.

Example IDL:

map<int32, int32> someName;

Example signature:

Map<Integer, Integer> someName;

private ComplexPower complexPower;

public Map<Integer, Integer> getSomeName() {
  return someName;
}

public void setSomeName(Map<Integer, Integer> someName) {
  this.someName = someName;
}

from service-idl.

That is not what I meant, but my question was not quite specific.

What I meant was an interface in the Service IDL that uses a map either as a parameter or as a result. I was also thinking of a real-world example.

So as a followup question, which was not part of my original question, please also include some code fragment that uses (or implements?) the interface and uses the map property, i.e. accesses items via their key.

tuple<..., ..., ...> is already supported in the IDL, BTW, however it is not clear to me how this is related to the map question.
