hi @ZacSweers! you got it right in your last comment. Environment variables in a command step are not visible to plugin executions. There is an experiment in the agent to support mutating the environment called job-api that may allow doing what you want/need, but it is not yet stable and I personally have not tested it to see how that interacts with plugin configurations (though I would expect it to work).

Another alternative would be to decouple the artifact uploading from the generation of the files using artifacts (as described in the documentation) but have your script do the pipeline upload of the step that uses this plugin instead of having it in the pipeline as it is.
