Please do the following:

1. close the wallet
2. install http://sqlitebrowser.org/
3. open your .sqlite database with this program
4. open tab "Execute SQL"
5. run this query: DELETE FROM known_bad_joints
6. click Write Changes
7. close
8. restart the walet

I had the same issue ... DELETE FROM known_bad_joints did the trick; just make sure all processes are killed.

Tried full backup and restore to another PC — same problem.

I have exactly the same issue as stated by Quark-Fusion, stuck to 0% syncing after deleting the known bad entry.

It is recurring and highly annoying but for me still solvable with the deletion of 'known_bad_joints'.

With version 1.8 now syncs ok in my case.

1.8 sync for 10% and now stuck

There is a known issue that causes sync to stall sometimes. The sync resumes after restarting. Or you can replace your network.js with the latest version https://github.com/byteball/byteballcore/blob/master/network.js that fixes the issue.

restarts doesn't helps, replaced network.js, still at 0%. I see 5 active connections, but not much traffic or cpu usage.
