Now the action doesn't install the executable:

Cachix: checking version
Error: Action failed with error: Error: Unable to locate executable file: cachix. Please verify either the file path exists or the file can be found within a directory specified by the PATH environment variable. Also check the file mode to verify the file is executable.

I just started getting the same crash a few hours ago out of the blue.

I have pinned revs for Cachix and haven't edited those actions in weeks so I'm not sure what caused it.

EDIT: Forcing Nix 2.13.3 fixes it.

Thanks @rvolosatovs, after upgrading install-nix-action and ensuring to use my auth token on every workflow, I no longer see an error related to this action. Closing.
