Ty, @gabrielizaias! The solution was there! 👏 👏

@juhguu, could you go through the Troubleshooting FAQ for Powerline and see if anything fixes your problem?
My money is on setting LANG=en_US.utf8
from bullet-train.zsh.
@gsklee @timepower you should set export LANG=en_US.utf8
in your ~.zshrc
as @gabrielizaias suggested. That should do the trick. The terminal Emulator does not really matter here.
@caiogondim this is related to ohmyzsh/ohmyzsh#4065
from bullet-train.zsh.
Yep, I've got the same problem.
from bullet-train.zsh.
Fixed. Could you double check if everything is okay?
from bullet-train.zsh.
I had to restart iTerm 2, but it works.
Thanks!

Not work for me :'( [git_prompt_info:4: character not in range]
from bullet-train.zsh.
Simply restarting the application worked for me. So...
😄

Strange ... In standard mac terminal works perfectly. But iTerm2 not.
from bullet-train.zsh.
Yep, the same thing happened. If restarting iTerm does not work, try to change the terminal font to another that supports the glyphs.

Already use. Sad. :(

@juhguu Still not working for you?
from bullet-train.zsh.
@gabrielizaias Everything ok for you?
from bullet-train.zsh.
Reopening the issue. Waiting for your feedback to close it.
from bullet-train.zsh.
@caiogondim yes, it looks ok to me. Initially, I had the same "character not in range" error message, but restarting iTerm fixed it.
from bullet-train.zsh.
Even restarting the error persisted. With other theme the error disappears.

Glad to help mate!
from bullet-train.zsh.
You guys rock!
Can i close te issue so?
from bullet-train.zsh.
Yeah. 👍

Thx, but how to setting for xfce4-terminal??
from bullet-train.zsh.
@timepower I don't use xfce, so can not help you on this.
Maybe a search on how to setup Powerline on XFCE might help you.
from bullet-train.zsh.
@caiogondim I've installed bullet-train
on both my laptop and my remote (didn't install font on remote though). It appears fine on my laptop but when I ssh into my remote, those GitHub icons are broken with the git_prompt_info:4: character not in range
warning. Did I set up something wrong?
from bullet-train.zsh.
@gsklee You tried all the possible fixes above?
from bullet-train.zsh.
export LANG=en_US.utf8
worked for me 👍
