Ooookay I'm really not sure what's going on here. That said, it's an error from the rust-crates-index crate, and we've already merged a PR #128 to remove that dependency. If you can, would you be able to build from source (either inside your container or in another e.g. the rust image, then copying the binary in) from the main branch and trying that, to confirm that it fixes it?

@passcod I confirmed that #128 fixed the problem.
I built the main branch and run it on debian using cargo run --release ..., then copy it into another container based on debian that has cargo installed via rustup.
In both cases, it worked.
