I have been fortunate that my career to date has led to a range of professional experiences, from leadership roles as a HR professional to working for several years in the NHS as a physiotherapist.

More recently, I decided to combine my love for teamwork and problem solving to focus on a career change to software engineering. Following the guidance and support of the Command Shift bootcamp and wider tech community, I was able to secure a role as a Junior Software Engineer with the BBC as part of their graduate scheme. Currently I am part of the BBC Live Team where I work with Node JS, Typescript and React to maintain live news and sport content on the BBC website.
