Note that there is already issue #433 on carrierwave carrierwaveuploader/carrierwave#433 which says this warning was fixed in 0.5.8, but I am still getting the deprecation warning with 0.5.8 myself. (I'm not using carrierwave-mongoid.)

As a temporary fix, if you are willing to run the 0.6.0 beta, adding this to the gemfile in addition to carrierwave-mongoid will remove the deprecation warnings.

Closing this out for now as it's a carrierwave issue. carrierwave-mongoid isn't yet carrierwave 0.6 compatible (See #35). Also hoping for a carrierwave 0.5.9 release in the meantime that incorporates the fix for the deprecation warning.
