This is all I'm waiting for to be able to move my install over and do some testing for you. Can't wait for this so I can decouple home assistant from the physical stick! Super excited for this

You can speed things up by providing us with a mqtt_dump file of your setup.
You can generate the dump through hass services

Is there an easy way to add the lock using https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/lock.mqtt/ in the meanwhile this get added?

No, we'll have to write new code for this new implementation, although probably a lot of code can be copied over.

@marcelveldt sweet! Will do. Gives me a good excuse to get the docker image for qt-openzwave etc all up and running. I don't use the component store (just homeassistant-core docker image) - whats the best way to go about getting this running now that its in home assistant-core but not released yet?

That contains support for light, sensor, switch, binary_sensor and climate is on the way
