huh, how? Locus stores its stuff in /sdcard/Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/files/Locus which is private and can't be selected. Storing Locus data in /sdcard/Locus/ is no longer possible.

You can select where to locate the Locus data directory. Furthermore, it is possible to change the srtm folder location manually. Same applies for maps BTW.

I'm using it like this for quite some time now. Saves me quite some disc space. 😁

Admitted, I'm using an older version of locus on my phone. But even if this is no longer possible, you should be able to select the srtm directory manually (or not...???)

I guess you are using the version if Locus before they implemented the storage changes that's still using file api. This version is quite old.
We shouldn't mention it in our FAQ as itll only apply to users who sideloaded an old apk
