Hey @rdrgmnzs,
I've tried to reproduce this issue against a local minikube with a dummy ns and I can't make it happened. At least no exception is reported. That said, I think the label_selector should not be passed to the kube API indeed so I'll make a change.

That was a good one to catch @rdrgmnzs as it impacted all sort of calls in the code. The problem is that underlying Kubernetes client won't treat None as you would hope but rather serialize everything to string.
