interesting. Perhaps because the server is based out of west us and you are in the netherlands right? Sounds like I do need to look into geo distribution.

Yes, Netherlands. Sometimes it goes faster though. Maybe a lot of people are starting boxes today. 📦

experiencing wide spread non-ability to hit choco packages.

PS C:\Windows\system32> choco install WindowsAzurePowershell
Chocolatey (v0.9.8.27) is installing 'WindowsAzurePowershell' and dependencies. By installing you accept the license for 'WindowsAzurePowersh
ell' and each dependency you are installing.
Unable to find package 'WindowsAzurePowershell'.

Command 'install' failed (sometimes this indicates a partial failure). Additional info/packages: WindowsAzurePowershell

PS C:\Windows\system32>

@justSteve looks like you were hitting straight choco. The initial package index lookup goes to appharbor on aws, then the package is on S3 which just has the manifest and the install but the actual software gets downloadeds from where ever the chocolateyinstall points to. WindowsAzurePowershell comes from github. Looks like yours failed somewhere at the amazon or s3 link. Not sure how the geo redundancy is configured there. @ferventcoder does.

I'm experiencing this again. I created new issue #119 before I rediscovered this one. I'm not sure it is related. It's not as bad, and the download always finished.
