I think it's always a good idea to have example data. I don't think we should link it in the validator's interface, but we could include the files in the repo. When the user downloads the latest release, the files will be in the same folder as the validator, so they can easily open them in the validator.

I have some test input files ready if this is the kind of thing you are looking for. I would recommend the first six as the remainder are more for testing than example usage.

Ivan, I've given Rhiannon access to the repo just now. She could pop the test files in a particular folder in the project if you like in a pull request.

@cmrn-rhi These are pretty good. For example purposes, I think three valid row 2 header ones may suffice, one for each format, along with one that has errors in it, as @wwhsiao suggested.
