I saw this troubleshooting note in the KinD documents.

The document is suggesting to edit the /etc/sysctl.conf file and add these lines:

fs.inotify.max_user_watches = 524288
fs.inotify.max_user_instances = 512

Does that resolve the problem?

Had the same issue when increasing the number of worker nodes, upping the inotify resources like @pguerin3 suggested above solved the problem for me :-)
