Hi @wKovacs64, there are images that do utilize an LTS tag as an alias if it's specified. For example, we update the Node image LTS version based off what is on the officially supported Node website.

Docker tags are not updated based on policy as these are meant to be a Convenience image that works out of the box with each SemVer tag, which promotes determinism, and allows users to reliably reproduce working builds. Exceptions include security issues or bugs on our end.

In the case where you'd like to utilize a specific tag, e.g for node; utilizing the node orb would be useful to pin the version you'd like to use while utilizing newer versions of packages and dependencies.
