Is this also needed for yarn workspace projects where there can be multiple node_modules folders?

I may be missing something, but it seems like this would be straightforward to support since save_cache accepts an array of paths.

Unfortunately, this is not the case as we do not have the ability to create array parameter types. I have created an issue for this here: https://ideas.circleci.com/cloud-feature-requests/p/support-array-of-type-parameters-1

@Kurt-von-Laven I don't believe it's possible, since we would have to be able to split the string through a custom script. I think for now if someone requires multiple cache paths they should just be implementing the cache themselves. I would like to see this functionality available some day and will advocate for the support array type.

@TheLudd The orb does not cache with yarn workspaces automatically, but I think this would be a prerequisite to doing that.

That makes sense. How feasible would it be to split a delimited string as a workaround in the meantime?

Going to close this for now as we do not have the features necessary. If this becomes possible in the future we will implement it!
