Do the widgets work in ckan 2.0?

Unfortunately as you mentioned the frontend has been completely revamped on 2.0, so we still haven't completely adapted the spatial widgets for it, this is something that we will do during the following months.

We did some work though on the dataset extent widget, that shows a map on the dataset page (see bottom left on eg [1]).
If you want to have a go and enable it, you'll need to:

• Switch to the 2641-spatial-widgets-new-theme branch on ckanext-spatial
• Add a custom template to your own extension (you'll need to create one if not already using one) and add a custom read.html that will override the default dataset details page one. Use the one from the demo extension as a guidance [2].

Please note that this is under current development so it may change at some point, but any feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the information! I'll work through the instructions here and familiarize myself with the extension architecture. I would really like to see a map widget on the resource editing page that would allow you to generate the spatial extra by drawing a shape on the map.
