ok ya i added import curses to durdraw_appstate.py, ran pip install and am able to start durdraw. idk if this is actually the right solution or some hacky BS so not going to PR, will let you decide :)

Thank you for this report! This issue is already fixed in the development branch. If you git clone that, it should work:

git clone -b dev https://github.com/cmang/durdraw

I will merge it into the master branch shortly.

The issue that it only makes this curses call if the Python version is 3.10 or later, so the bug does not surface with older Python versions. Oops!
