That's correct.
I just noticed 2350a03 and if you're going to commit the Pods/ directory then you should probably include Podfile.lock so maybe this issue isn't a good idea?

You should add the lock file to SCM regardless of whether you add the Pods
dir.

Another point for reference is that the for the development of CocoaPods we keep under source control the Gemfile.lock
. I remember that we removed it at some point but it was creating more issues that benefit (I don't recall the exacts issues) so we ended up adding it back again.
