@YashMeh @L04DB4L4NC3R Also having registration will add up to the database of our community. I remember when I started CodeChef org, I was the only contributor since one year. And now it feels great to see so many contributors. Big thanks to both of you ! You guys made us super proud.

I'm also thinking of having few open source project under CodeChef.

Can't we have few proposals outside from CodeChef team or we can have few projects open for all, and we'll accept the PRs globally...?

Only thing that we need to do is assuring the contributors to maintain the code quality and coding standards. Have a brainstorming session with team for this idea, this will definitely gonna help us to build a strong relationship with open source contributors. And I'm damn sure, people will contribute if we publicise well.

My idea is to have contributors across the VIT and different colleges. It'll be better if you can ask somebody to draft the proposal which must contain contribution guidelines.

Hope to get this started before graVITas so that we can publicize this during graVITas events and we can recruit very good developers directly through their contributions.

@L04DB4L4NC3R
The flow LGTM. Speak to the team and let's have their opinion too. I'm sure, we'll reach to the best API first development approach for all kinds of operations inside CodeChef at the end.

Awesome idea. We are already on the verge of having a huge database of developers to target.

@subhrapaladhi @YashMeh @vinitshahdeo How about this:

It'll be better to build the pipeline to push past webinars and upcoming webinars on our website?

@L04DB4L4NC3R @YashMeh
Can you guys assign this task to someone?

The links to the past webinars and brief description should be there, also people should be able to register via the website?

@vinitshahdeo Is this something you are proposing?

[Webinar description (manual)]---->[Webinar registration form (automated)]----->[Link mailing (triggered)]----->[Push to GitHub (automated)]

FLOW: We can add upcoming webinars in the TBA section. Whenever we remove the TBA tag, its gonna spin up a registration form automatically and mail the link. Once we add the stream link, it will mail it automatically and push it to GitHub. We make a trello board for it and add integrations.

@vinitshahdeo we conduct open webinars, so I don't think there is a need for registration,
but I think it will be good to trigger an event when the readme branch gets updated to push the webinars to the main www.codechefvit.com website.
@L04DB4L4NC3R what do you think ? Can we do that ?

@YashMeh Definately. Its also good to have a registration form even if the webinar is public. Those who have registered will attend since they will be intimated about the webinar personally beforehand. We can build a pipeline wherein whenever we add a webinar, we generate its registration link along with it.

@L04DB4L4NC3R it LGTM.
We conduct our live stream on facebook. Wouldn't it be better if we do that on youtube? It has better live streaming features.

@subhrapaladhi YouTube requires third party applications for screen sharing. Like OBS. Plus to comment on the stream you need to have a channel. Plus the overall reach of a new YouTube is gonna be much much lesser than what our reach already is on Facebook.

@L04DB4L4NC3R Then we should continue with facebook.
