Interesting idea. Perhaps we could expose an event when the toast is clicked and closed. However, I have some other changes in the works that might open this and other scenarios too. Let me think about this one and come back to it.

I'm in favor of the event way. Then you're free to do whatever you like inside the handler (including opening a new url).

Also, how about letting the handler decide if the toast should close or not - e.g. return false and it'll stick?

I like those ideas. expose an event and a cancel flag. I've got some other stuff to tackle first, but I expect a new release by the end of the month. Should be doable for that one.
