pip install -i https://pypi.anaconda.org/carlkl/simple spectrum

thanks a lot. I'm not fully familiar with anaconda. Just started to use it.
does that mean that spectrum is part of anaconda or it has to fulfill some
number of downloads ? If you want to add a short paragraph in spectrum
README or doc, please let me know.

Best

I created these wheels for a colleage of mine.

The spectrum wheels are on an anaconda repository. Everyone can register and setup a repository for private or public usage. These repos are however are not maintained by continuum.io.

You could of course create your own repo to deploy spectrum wheels if you want.

I compiled the extension with mingwpy (see https://anaconda.org/carlkl/mingwpy). You have to create a pydistulils.cfg in %HOME or %USERPROFILE with:

[build]
compiler=mingw32
[build_ext]
compiler=mingw32

to activate the mingwpy gcc compiler toolchain.

Hi,
I downloaded spectrum using

pip install -i https://pypi.anaconda.org/carlkl/simple spectrum

as suggested by carlkl above. However, when I try out the sample code I get an error:

from spectrum import *
data = data_cosine(N=1024, A=0.1, sampling=1024, freq=200)
p = Periodogram(data, sampling=1024)
p.run()

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "", line 2, in
data = data_cosine(N=1024, A=0.1, sampling=1024, freq=200)

NameError: name 'data_cosine' is not defined

Anyone know where I've gone wrong? Thanks
