Which command were you using? Certain commands are admin-only commands

AKA the !mod command needs administrator permissions otherwise moderators could add new roles as moderator which is a security issue

The first command was !mod add roleid, i gave the role to a member with no role, and he couldn't tempmute or ban, which means he couldn't perform any moderator's command, does the role need ban perms or anything ? ( I'm admin but the member isn't )

Can you do me a favour and try removing that role as Mod, adding it again and restart the bot? Not sure why it's not working

I just did as you said, but it just kept failing, i even tried to use the github's source without modifying it, no positive results either

hmm, very odd. Are you sure you have the correct role ID and the user has the proper role? The code for the role check works in my testing with Python versions 3.8 and 3.10 as far as I can see. Which python version are you using?
