Duplicate saved windows (redux)

The issue of "Duplicate saved windows" https://github.com/Connorhd/TabCloud/issues/closed#issue/1 is still very much an open/important issue.

Github says I "closed" it. If I did, it was pilot error, and completely unintentional. I haven't been able to figure out how to re-open it. So this stub is here to keep the issue alive.

Where are my saved windows from previous sessions?

I have saved windows in previous sessions, yet when I log in to TabCloud, it says at the bottom "You haven't saved any sessions yet!"

Where can I find my saved windows from old sessions? I thought they were saved to the Cloud??

Control + click does not work on [my] mac

Is this supposed to work on macs? I only have one to test with at the moment, and it does not work. Holding ctrl and clicking gives me the context menu, as if I had "right" clicked. I also tried the alt/option key and command key. None of them did anything (except the aforementioned context menu from the control + click). There is no middle click on mac either. Strangely, my google-fu is unable to find a single person who has asked about this yet.

Add live window state changes.

PLEASE, A NEEDED FEATURE:
Can you modify Tab Cloud so that when the state of an opened window changes so it will be reflected in the saved tabs? For example, let's say I open a saved window, then I close a tab. Now when I look in tab cloud, that saved window should have one less tab in it. The same goes for adding tabs. If you navigate to a new page in an existing tab of the opened window, then in tab cloud that will be the new location for the corresponding tab of the saved window.

Also, when a window is open, the corresponding saved window in tab cloud should be highlighted.

And one last thing. Currently you can save a window as many times as you want and create multiple saved windows. When you do this, the state-reflection should automatically be passed to the last saved window. For example, let's say I open a saved window, then save it as a new window with a new name, then I open a new tab. In tab cloud i should see the old saved window, unmodified, and the new saved window with the new tab added to it. Then let's say I close two tabs and navigate to a new page on an existing tab. Tab Cloud should show the newly saved window with two less tabs and a new location for one of the tabs. The original saved window will still be unchanged. The new saved window will also be highlighted so you know that is the current window.

Do you get what I mean???

You tow have the best two plugins, yours for syncing, and Simple Window Saver for live updating of the save windows.

Select several tabs in the menu

If we could select several tabs when saving a group of tabs, we could easily delete all the unwanted tabs (Say we are saving our session, but we searched for 3 main topics) we would easily be able to quiclky save each topic in a different group by the multiple selection-deleting abbility.

I love tabcloud so much, looking for using it in Firefox too

I cannot find TabCloud as Firefox extension. Is it available?

[Feature request] Resize TabCloud window

It would be nice to resize the window to one's desires (not just have a scroll)
Also save that size when opened again (in a config or something)

Also - where is donation button?!!? :)

Yet another annoying user with feature suggestions

Here are a few things I would find usefull, hope you dont mind:

Add an option to configure it to "ASK" if we want the tab group to be opened in the current window or in a new window. Depending on what im doing I dont allways want the same option.

I find it annoying to have all the current tabs/windows displayed on top of the saved tab groups, its a lot of clutter, some consolidation of the gui would be cool there. Like an icon that shows which groups is currently opened, allow user to switch between opened tab groups just by clicking on the group. Some options to close a tab group that is currently opened and if its not opened, clicking on it opens it.

I like how the addon OneTab has an option to "ignore" pinned tabs. I dont want my pinned tab in all my groups so maybe an option to ignore them when creating a new tab group.

Another pinned tab option some may find usefull, would be the ability to ALLWAYS have the pinned tab open with every new windows. Pinned tabs should be persistent.

Of course all of these would need some options to enable or disable them independently.

Anyways, love your addon im definitly installing this on all my PC. Hope you dont mind the suggestions, I just think they would be very helpfull for my worlflow.

Tab Tooltip is displayed below the TabCloud Pop-up

This renders the tool-tip (the page title) unreadable.

So tabs from the same site are indistinguishable.

Reopening Saved Tabset Creates Hundreds of Duplicate Tabs

This is really strange, I'm running Chrome Version 22.0.1229.94

On a Macbook Air, Lion 10.7.4

Looks like TabCloud version 1.15

I have one large set of tabs, 22 I think, all from amazon, and attempting to restore them opens about 250 tabs (according to TooManyTabs), multiple duplicates of each tab. It pretty much brings the chrome window to a standstill, so its hard to determine if there is a systematic duplication going on. Looks like my other saved tab sets don't do this.

No middle-click avaliable on my laptop

I have a laptop which doesn't have a middle-click. Is there another way to open up single saved page?

Logged In yet continues to request log in tabcloud

Hello,
I found this and was excited to use this on my google chrome. however ever since i signed on tabcloud .. it will continue to request log in asif never logged in..I have logged out did a fresh login.. but somehow it can cause an eror to my main google account.. I have to resign in.on chrome and then when I try using tabclud ... it is still not signed in.. Please help me in solving this issue so I could start using tabcloud.

Duplicate saved windows

When I name a tabset (say 'Zeno Project') and save it, TabCloud works nicely. When I come back later, I can open Zeno Project and work away. But if I add or delete some tabs, and save it again (to update what the cloud knows about that tabset), I get a duplicate saved tabset. A few saves later, I have half a dozen saved Zeno Project tabsets. The list of saved tabsets is not even name-sortable, making it hard to identify what is the most recent version.

I thought once I named a tabset, that name would be durable, and further saves would update that tabset, not create clones or near-clones. This will be the biggest impediment to scaling up my TabCloud use.

That way when tabs are re-opened, you can press the "back" button must like before closing them.

Tabcloud keeps loading "chrome"

For about a week now when i click the Tabcloud icon i can see the tabs that I have open now, the ones that i saved don't show up and instead it shows "loading" and it never loads

Firefox extension broken

On firefox, only half of the TabCloud dropdown renders and there is no scroll bar (or it is unusable) to move through sessions to restore.

Use bookmarks to save tabs instead of external service

I would like to use a bookmark folder to save the tabs and synchronize them to other systems.

When restoring saved windows on Chrome, it only restores 12 tabs.

This happens every time I restore a Window.
After restoring I can manually dragg the tabs that were left . It's not productive that way.

Can you provide a fix?
That magic number limitation is probably hard-coded somewhere in the source code.
Or is it a limitation from the "free"version?

I love and consistently use TabCloud on a daily basis to keep windows by projects running at the moment.

Add tag function

I think it would be better, if having tag folder, that we can just sort our saves based on tag.
It would be more cleaner and simplier to search

Add export functionality

Import would be nice also.
