Good point.

In the past we used Eclipse to export the Jar manually. https://help.eclipse.org/luna/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.jdt.doc.user%2Ftasks%2Ftasks-37.htm
I will create a wiki entry for that.

For this GH issue to be resolved however, I would prefer an approach in which we automatically create the JAR for every CI build of the master branch and upload it somewhere so people can use it straight away.

So to conclude, if you need the jar right now, use the eclipse export. In the long run, I would say the goal is an automated approach during the CI build.
