Hi Dimo,
The main use of -p
is when you are publishing a new release, so including the date in the changelog here makes sense for most use cases.
If you really want to remove the date from the first release, you could use a custom template and the {{#unless @first}}
tag:
Then point to your template with -t
:
auto-changelog -p -t my-custom-template.hbs
from auto-changelog.
