I'm not aware about an API for checking other ENS apps. This will be solved with data sharing, we are already working on it in branch feature/efgs.

Understood, so I suppose the intended solution/expectation is there's just a single ENS app installed on the phone which works internationally.

Am I right that this would initially work for Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany and Austria, but the plan is to cover most/all ENS-compatible apps, including the UK ones? Would EU or any other data laws apply to this type of data at all (when it's presumably not PII), or is this purely dependent on the willingness of teams in other countries to collaborate?

We are working of integration of EFGS: https://github.com/eu-federation-gateway-service/efgs-federation-gateway

This is an EU initiative, led by the German team. Because of Brexit, not sure about the UK.

Gotcha, I suppose there isn't much you can do then, if there isn't any API available.

I assume that uninstalling eRouska or suppressing notification is the only solution until/unless EFG or similar project allows data sharing.
