I have just tried it on linux with latest sources. All works good for me.

Are you running it on windows? Do you install svgren via NuGet package?

Yes, it often happens that you spend a lot of time finding out that the problem is on your side if libraries don't give proper error information. I have just added unclosed tag detection to svgdom: cppfw/svgdom@db531cb and it is available in version 0.3.75.

This is on Windows, yes. I'll try upgrading and hopefully it solves it.

After spending some more time investigating this, I found out it was 100% an error on my side. The file content got shortened in some string operations before svgren parsed it. Perhaps you could return an error code if there is no end svg-tag found. Sorry for taking your time and thanks for your great work on this library!
