Better explination of what is needed
A connection header has two possible values keep-alive or close if absent 1.1 assumes keep alive and 1.0 assumes close.

I do not think that Ace should have logic on generating those headers but if it see's connection: close it should terminate the connection after data is sent.

A helper on using the correct connection header can be bundled in tokumei under the module Raxx.Connection
