Good point. This feature could be really appreciated. Should work for other filetype too.

u have to remember that ST is kinda dumb when it comes to file icons because as i stated in the Readme
ST doesn't see anything unless i have the .tmlanguage for that file installed or it will use a default icon "according to what he sees fit" and as i cant install every language out there (even at that point u won't be 100% sure that the icon will now display as u want) so PRs are more than welcome.
anyway as an answer for ur question
make a HTML.sublime-settings in (User) and put inside
"extensions": [ "html.erb" ]
another solution would be make a python file that creates this files for you automatically the first time u activate the theme ,something like ApplySyntax plugin,so u don't have to do anything but sadly i have no idea how to do this.
