Seems the React is not routing any events to the component in the second test

Second event listener is for function

function dispatchEvent(topLevelType, nativeEvent) {
  if (!_enabled) {
    return;
  }

When the second test runs, the button does not have this event listener, instead it has

var emptyFunction = function emptyFunction() {};
