Browserify is pretty clever; see brfs, and try this:
cd dsv
npm install -g browserify
npm install brfs # not sure why this has to be local
browserify -t brfs index.js
But even simpler, it works out of the box as-is!
<script src="dsv.js"></script>
<script>
var csv = dsv(",");
console.log(csv.parse("foo\n1"));
</script>
Alternatively you could use SMASH to build a custom version of d3 with just the dsv parts, though this would be bigger since it includes the d3.xhr parts rather than just the parser:
smash src/start.js src/dsv/dsv.js src/end.js > d3.dsv.js
Everything is possible with your imagination!
from d3-dsv.
Cool: though a note of warning to those using the brfs trick. It doesn't apply to require()
'd libraries unless you specifically submit -r dsv
here. So, in my case
browserify -t brfs -r dsv -s csv2geojson index.js > csv2geojson.js
yes, but
browserify -t brfs -s csv2geojson index.js > csv2geojson.js
no
from d3-dsv.
And unfortunately that trick only works for one level: browserify/brfs#8
from d3-dsv.
