looks similiar to this issue #56 caused by HA upgrading to python 3.10 and kia having weak ssl cert fixed by the top four commits here https://github.com/dahlb/kia_hyundai_api/commits/master/src/kia_hyundai_api/us_kia.py I don't have a hyundai so i can't verify a fix but if you want to open a pr for https://github.com/dahlb/kia_hyundai_api/blob/master/src/kia_hyundai_api/us_hyundai.py I'll merge it or if your will to test changes I can try to come up with a fix

I ported the kia fix over to hyundai's code on master, please let me know if that helps you.

Not sure if this helped the OP, but it looks like it didn't if the new install I tried via HACS is any indication. I just used that and I get the same error and log entries. Is it possible that I need to use a Beta version (if available)? I clicked the second link above and see the code however it doesn't match what I have in config/custom_components/ha_kia_hyundai.... I have a api_cloud_us_hyundai.py, but likewise the code is very different. I am not fluent in Python - or any other language apparently

same as with @Caddyman68 and the OP, I am getting the exact same error dump, happy to help debug.

Edit: I have confirmed that the version that you just linked above containing the "fix" is the one installed.

if you try master or next week version 1.6.5 will be released by the bots, I think that will fix this hyundai weak ssl cert issue. It is similiar to the kia cert issue but a little different. Please let me know if it works or not. Thanks
