I'll check this out in a while (maybe a long while cuz I haven't touched this project in a long time), but until then if you really need to arp spoof + inject a beef hook you should try using mitmf. https://github.com/byt3bl33d3r/MITMf

Out of curiosity have you had success injecting any code?

For the moment, not yet. I tried a few times, but it didn't work. I tried MITMf, and it works good until you want to inject the beef hook. cSploit does the work perfectly, but I wanted to do it with a more powerful chipset.
