Another notice is that since it drops all collections (always) it also drops the system.users collection which contains authentication information.

Adds :only & :except support to MongoMapper truncation. Closed by 6ff2f91.

I should point out that no the system.users collection was not added as a default. If you don't want that dropped you will need to specify that with :except. HTH.
