My use case is also global. Im getting back a deployment preview url in an earlier step from Netlify and would like to pass that as a startUrl variable for all tests.

• Do you want to override variables on a per test basis, or is this globally overriding global variables?
  • For example, is this just for the global config file, or the test files themselves?
