You've probably been caught by some recent changes not being in sync with the docs! 😢
generate_report
has three mandatory parameters:
- input_directory - Where to find the processed quantitative inputs
- results_directory - Where to find the simulation results
- output_file - A full path of where to store the report (i.e.
~davidski/my_analysis/report.docx
)
You can optionally pass a format
parameter with a value of either html
(to generate a web version), pdf
(to generate an Adobe PDF version), or word
) (to generate a MS Word version). If not format
field is passed, Word is the default.
TL;DR - generate_report(input_directory, results_directory, "~/my_report.docx")
should work.
If you can point out which docs you are finding the version of the commands you entered, I'll make sure to squash those pesky documentation bugs!

I gotcha, I'm going to close this issue for now. It looks like I was just running commands from my History pane (RStudio), while the instructions in my Help pane appear updated. I'll try again with the new instructions at the next opportunity.
