Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. Could you please provide the clear steps to follow? A video recording of the issue would also be very helpful.

As requested:

• connect DBeaver to MariaDB via SSH using JDBC connector
• run query
• allow SSH connection to close via "time out"
• re-run query. There is a non-deterministic lag seemingly not dependent on any DBeaver "time out" preference before DBeaver invalidates connection and attempts re-connection (as seen in video recording)

Excellent. Thanks for following up. Ps which connection preferences should be controlling the “invalidation” timeout delay? Never mind; I found it.. Would be nice to have all these pref under a singular location, and have individual panels be used for “override” on particular connections

Unfortunately, attachments which you send replying on a notification email don't come to the github - only the text. So, I don't see what setting you were trying to use. Could you attach your images by writing a comment for your issue here #26400?

None of the connection settings do anything meaningful. I’m still having issue as reported

Sadly, your suggestion didn’t address the issue… the timeout isn’t being respected. I just tried again and it took a minute to invalidate and retry
