Sprites are already visible in the inspector mate.

You want the actual texture to be visible?

I can draw the preview texture from the inspector.
Which is actually nice, because it can be used for prefabs and other stuff.

I finished it. I called it [ShowAssetPreview].
It works for everything that has a preview in the inspector
