I solved this way: (in Procfile)
sudo_app: echo "sudo_password" | sudo -S app_command
from foreman.
The only way this would be possible is if sudo were set up not to ask for the password. You could also run foreman as root. Generally, though, I'd say that system-level processes should be managed by your process manager (upstart, launchd, etc) and the Procfile reserved for app-level processes.
