I played around and repeated the upgrade process now the previous error is gone.

This time there's no return value from the promise function at .then(myFunc()):

function myFunc (myParam) --> myParam is 'undefined'

update: logging the return value in the promise function works, I see what should be returned

Ok, thanks for the input.
Here's the Promises Spec I find most instructive: https://promisesaplus.com/ It takes a little while, but totally worth it IMHO.

oh sorry, my update note can be misunderstood

I still have the issue of not getting the return value from .then(myFunc())

I just managed to sort out my first report about .done being undefined
