The issue arise also with other vital core plugins in side pane like search, outline, starred. I guess one other workaround would be to open pane in a new window... A simple workaround for now is simply to hit escape to unfocus from side panes.

I have problem too. When I maximise a note and come back, the whole sidebar content disappears.

I have same @icytree problem. When I click on side panels, whatever plugin is, content of maximized pane disappears until you hit escape or re-cycle through panes.
