Toolbar style issue with IE8

Ok I have an update:
I changed the line where I check for MSIE 8. and set the IE to true oldIE to false and new IE to false:

    if (nav.userAgent.indexOf("MSIE 8.") != -1) {
    wmd.Util.IE = true;
    wmd.Util.oldIE = false;
    wmd.Util.newIE = true;
}

in wmd base I changed the if statement on lines 205 and 325 to say 1==0 so they never fire.

Like I said this works for me, I dont know if it is a worldwide issue, but for me I need to make sure WMD works in IE as that is the default browser for a lot of users using this tool.
